Therapy also allows you the experience of empowering yourself to heal, grow, and change your life.
If you’ve made the decision to start therapy, you’re ready to do this thing. And we’re ready to do this thing with you.
Couple Therapy & Sex Therapy Fees
Please note that we provide couple therapy on private-pay basis; insurances are NOT accepted.
Most insurance companies only cover a mental illness diagnosis (as defined by the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) and not relational or sexual concerns.
You can, however, utilize HSA (Health Spending Account) funds, and we can easily provide you with statements for your records. Also, if your plan covers out-of-network providers there is a chance therapy will be covered, check with your provider to be sure.
50-55 Minutes Appointment: $150–$195
55-80 Minutes Appointment: $225–$295
Fees depend on the level of experience of the therapist and will be confirmed at time of consult.
Sex therapy is only provided by Rebecca Nelson LAMFT, and her rate is $150 per 50-55 min session and $225 per 55-80 min session.
In-Network Insurance
Some therapists in our practice accept Aetna, Optum, UnitedHealth, and Oscar. We do not accept Medicare or Medicaid (AHCCCS) plans.
The availability of insurance covered individual therapy sessions is limited.
Couple therapy is not covered by insurance typically.
Out-Of-Network Insurance
Using your Out-Of-Network (OON) benefits means you will pay the cash rate after your appointment and then be reimbursed by your insurance company.
Check your out-of-network benefits. These are typically in the Summary of Benefits that is included in a member information packet or on your insurance company website.
